Celtic vs Livingston Match Analysis & Prediction

Celtic, who hold a nine-point lead at the top of the Scottish Premiership standings, will look to strengthen their position when they host Livingston on Wednesday evening.
The fourth-placed visitors have put together a five-match unbeaten streak of their own and travel to Glasgow on the back of a 1-1 draw with Dundee last weekend.
After a World Cup break, Celtic had difficulty finding the form they displayed in the Scottish Premier League before November.
But five wins and clean sheets later, there is no longer any doubt that Ange Postecoglou’s side will stay nine points ahead of Rangers.
The form of their Glasgow rivals helped keep Celtic on track, although they had to rely on two second-half goals to prevail at Dundee United on Sunday.
With no European football to look forward to, Celtic can focus on trying to win the treble and only face one away fixture in four matches before they play Rangers in the League Cup final on February 26.
Since suffering back-to-back defeats on December 21 and December 24, Livingston has put together a six-match unbeaten streak in all competitions.
As well as progressing in the Scottish Cup, nine points from five games in the league have ensured they hold a two-point advantage in the fourth spot.
David Martindale will still have ambitions of chasing down third place, but he knows that he faces a tough battle, with seven points separating him from his rivals.

Celtic Team News
Postecoglou is likely to rotate some of his Celtic players for this contest because the three-day turnaround between matches is short. O’Riley and Turnbull could return to the midfield, while Maeda is in contention of a recall up front. Kobayashi may also return in the middle of defense; however, Starfelt may keep his spot, given Livingston’s position on the table.

Livingston Team News
Jack Fitzwater’s place in the centre of defense is dependent on whether he attracts interest from other clubs before the transfer window closes. If he does not, Ayo Obileye will take his spot in the squad, which may prove to be the only alteration.
