Hibernian will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Scottish Premiership when they take on Ross County at the Easter Road stadium in their Matchday 15 tie on Tuesday night.
Hibernian picked up a 4-1 away defeat to Aberdeen in their precious Premiership fixture last week Friday. They have now lost four of their last five league matches, winning once in the process.
The run has seen them drop from third place to fifth spot in the league standing, with now two points off Aberdeen in third and one point above St Mirren in the bottom half.
Another setback for Hibs on Tuesday could see them drop into the bottom half, something they will want to avoid heading into the World Cup break. They have had the edge in this fixture recently, winning four of the last five, and should fancy their chances of bouncing back.
Ross County, meanwhile, picked up a vital 3-2 win over St Mirren last time out in the Scottish Premiership.
The victory saw Malcom Mackay’s side climb off the bottom of the table and they currently sit 12th, three points off Dundee United at the bottom and level on 12 points with 10th-placed Kilmarnock.
Another win on Tuesday will see County climb out of the relegation zone, at least until Kilmarnock play on Wednesday. They have however, only won once at Easter Road in their last seven visits and will need to play at the top of the game if they are to come away with something on Tuesday.
