Motherwell will be looking to end a three-game winless run across all competitions when they host Aberdeen at Fir Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday.
Both teams participated in the Scottish League Cup quarter-finals during the week, with Motherwell being eliminated and Aberdeen progressing to the semi-finals.

In midweek, their home form carried over to their Scottish League Cup ventures, where they suffered a 4-0 defeat to Celtic through a double from Liel Abada and goals from Reo Hatate and Kyogo Furuhashi.
On the other hand, Aberdeen make the trip south to Fir Park in a positive vein of form, having recorded consecutive victories, which has left them sit fourth in the Scottish Premiership standings.
Jim Goodwin’s side did undergo a sizeable squad rebuild in the summer and look to be rejuvenated in attack, possessing the best offensive record in division besides Celtic and Rangers.
Aberdeen were able to secure a spot in the semi-finals of the Scottish League Cup on Wednesday, defeating Partick Thistle 4-1 at Pittodrie through goals from Luis Lopes, Hayden Coulson, Ryan Duncan and a Kevin Holt own goals.
The Dons return to league action on Saturday and will set out to prove a point as they have picked up just four points from five matches away from home in the Scottish Premiership.
