West Bromwich Albion are set to host Brighton & Hove Albion in their FA Cup third-round fixture at The Hawthorns on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
West Brom have made an impressive campaign in the Championship this season with the club claiming 42 points from their 25 league matches and currently sit in fourth in the standings with seven points off the summit.
However, West Brom have hit a slump lately with the club failing to collect maximum points from their last three matches and they missed a chance to move to within two points off the automatic promotion places in the Championship as they drew 1-1 with Cardiff city in a fiery encounter at home last time out.

West Brom will now focus on the FA Cup where they will hope to turns their home fortunes around in the tournament as they have lost four of their last five home matches in the competition. They will be aiming for a win as they look to return to winning ways and also they look to advance to the fourth round for the fourth time in the last five years.
Meanwhile Brighton have been solid in the Premier League this season with the club being among the clubs who have drawn most of their matches (9) in the top flight. They have managed to collect 27 points from their 19 league matches and currently sit in the ninth spot with six points outside the top six.
They have been in a good run of form lately with the side as they have only lost one of their last seven Premier League matches head into the match on the back of a three-match unbeaten run which has them rise into the top half of the table.
They opened the year with a 3-2 win over Everton at away in the top flight and will be looking to keep the momentum going in the Saturday’s FA Cup tie. The Seagull have only been eliminated in the third round from their last 12 seasons and will fancy their chances of advancing with a favorable fixture against lower league opposition.
