Sporting Lisbon news
Centre-back Sebastian Coates and forward Tiago Tomas will miss due to injury. Ruben Vinagre and Jovane Cabral are both doubtful with knocks. Paulinho is expected to start as the central striker with Pablo Sarabia and Pedro Goncalves to play in advanced midfield roles just behind.
Borussia Dortmund news
Dortmund will be without several first-team players on Wednesday. Marcel Schmelzer(knee), Erling Haaland(hip), Mateu Morey(knee), Nico Schulz(muscle) and Dan-Axel Zagadou(muscle) are all ruled out with injuries. Giovanni Reyna, Marius Wolf and Youssoufa Moukoko are doubtful.
Prediction and Odds
Sporting need to win by at least two goals to advance to knockouts, and we expect they will attack throughout the 90 minutes.
Meanwhile the visitors may be more cautious in the clash as a draw would still keep their last-16 hopes with them. With a tight game of posibilities, a draw could be a more relevant prediction.
