Top takes on bottom in Group G of the Europa Conference League, as Slavia Prague welcome CFR Cluj to Sinobo Stadium for round three on Thursday.
Slavia Prague have picked up four points from their two Group G matches and currently sit top of the group, level though on points with Sivasspor in second.
After drawing 1-1 with Sivasspor at away on the opening night, Slavia Prague managed to narrowly edge out Ballkani 3-2 on the second day and they will be looking to make it back-to-back wins on Thursday. a win will strengthen their bid for a first-place finish in the group.
They are coming off a 3-0 home win over Slovan Liberec in their domestic league campaign, extending their home winning streak to 10 matches across all competitions. Therefore they should feel confident of picking their second Conference League on Thursday.
CFR Cluj meanwhile have only picked up one point from their opening two matches in Group G and are currently stuck at the bottom of the group on one point, although, they are level on points with third-placed Ballkani and are three points off the summit.
A win on Thursday could leave them sitting at second in the group standings – something Dan Petrescu will be hoping for. Petrescu’s side are coming off back-to-back 1-0 wins over Champions FC Arges and Petrolul in their domestic league campaign, and he will hope that they can build on the victories as they seek to give their knockout stages hopes a boost.
