A place in the 2022-23 EFL Trophy final will be at stake when Plymouth Argyle and Cheltenham Town meet at Home Park on Tuesday.
The hosts are unbeaten in each of their last seven home matches across all competitions, and will head into the contest looking to secure a fifth straight victory over the visitors.
Having secured a first-placed finish in the Southern Group E table of the EFL Trophy, Plymouth Argyle kicked off their knockout-stage campaign in fashion as they claimed a 3-2 victory over Charlton Athletic on November 22.
They met AFC Wimbledon in their third-round tie on December 21, when they overturned a three-goal first-half deficit to force a 3-3 draw in normal time before seeing off the Dons 4-3 on penalties.

Plymouth Argyle’s impressive cup run has been in keeping with their performances in League One, where they are currently second in the table, eight poins above Ipswich Town outside the automatic promotions spots.
They head into Tuesday fresh off the back of a somewaht disappointing goalless draw against 16th-placed Fleetwood Town, a result which saw them fall behind first-placed Sheffield Wednesday on goal difference.
Cheltenham’s EFL Trophy journey has been a relatively rough one as they finished second in the Southern Group C table.
However, since the victory over Forest Green, a run of two victories has sparked fresh belief as the Robins beat Chelsea U21 4-0 on December 13 before claiming a 3-1 win over Salford City in the quarter-final tie on Janaury 10.
While Wade Elliott’s side are making a charge in the EFL Trophy crown, their form in League One is currently nothing to write home about as they have managed just one league win since the start of the year.
Cheltenham Town have picked up nine wins, six draws and lost 16 of their 31 league matches to collect 33 points and sit 19th in the League One table, just four points above 21st-placed Milton Keynes Dons in the relegation zone.
