Now back in the top six of League One, Plymouth Argyle will look to give their playoff chances another boost on Saturday, when they travel to face Bolton Wanderers with kickoff at 6 pm.
Struggling to start the season, Bolton kept their playoff hopes alive with a strong run in the new year.
They won seven league matches and drew the other, moving into the top-six race. Since then, their form has taken a slight dip, falling to defeats at Burton Albion and MK Dons in February. However, they bounced back from the latter with a 3-0 thrashing of Gillingham last weekend. Aaron Morley, Declan John, and Jon Dadi Bodvarsson sealed the win.
Bodvarsson’s 90th-minute equalizer denied Morecambe all three points at home to Hereford. Although the result leaves Evatt’s side seven points off the playoff places, they still have six games in hand on Leyton Orient, 6th in the table.
After a dip in form at the turn of the year, Plymouth recently made their way back into the top six of League 2 after defeating Morecambe and AFC Wimbledon. The Pilgrims have been able to win three matches in a row during this period, against Morecambe and AFC Wimbledon, thanks to goals from Conor Grant, Ryan Hardie, and Ryan Broom.

Bolton Team News
Bolton Wanderers, who have found a steady line-up this season and are unlikely to shake things up, are expected to keep a familiar backline of Will Aimson, Ricardo Santos, and George Johnston. Jon Dadi Bodvarsson, who has scored in each of the last two games off the bench, could start with Tom Walker.
Plymouth Team News
Plymouth has named an unchanged line-up for today’s game at Home Park, with goalkeeper Christian Walton, defenders Macauley Gillesphey, James Bolton and James Wilson, and midfielders Luke Jephcott and Niall Ennis and Jordon Garrick and forwards Ryan Hardie all set to start.
