Nottingham Forest will host Leicester City at the City Ground in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday evening with kickoff at 19:00.
Nottingham Forest were in a brilliant form since the beginning of the year, until last weekend when they fell to a 2-1 defeat o Cardiff City in the Championship. Prior, to the defeat Forest were on a four-match winning run that saw them scalp Arsenal with 1-0 win the previous FA Cup round. Also the run had moved them to only three points within the playoff spots.
Therefore they will be looking to get back on track in the match while aiming at continuing their cup run in the process. A win will on Sunday will be a massive confidence boost ahead of a hectic playoff battle.
Meanwhile Leicester City have been a bit flaky this season with the club claiming 26 points from their 20 Premier League matches to sit in the middle of the table with 12 points off the Champions League places.
Their struggle for consistency continued last time out when they added a 1-1 draw against Brighton to their 3-2 defeat to Tottenham prior to the winter break and they have now won just two of their last six in all competitions.
However, Brendan Rodger’s side will take positives from their 4-1 victory against fellow Premier League outfits, Watford in the previous round of the FA Cup and will be hoping to build on that as they aim at making a good run in the competition to compensate their inconsistent Premier League campaign.
