Lincoln vs Doncaster Match Analysis and Prediction

Lincoln will be looking to make three wins on the bounce when they welcome Doncaster to Sincil Bank for their second Northern Group E tie in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday night.

Lincoln have made an inconsistent campaign so far in League One this season, having recorded three wins, four draws and two defeats in their nine matches.

However, they will still be happy with the run as they now sit just one point outside the playoff places. They are coming off back-to-back victories over Derby County (2-0) and Brictol Rovers (3-6) in League One, which saw them, bounce back from a 2-0 away defeat to Cambridge.

They have now three of their last four matches across all competitions; including the 3-0 win at Barnsley in their opening EFL Trophy tie in Group A. They will now be keen to extend that run in Tuesday as they look to maintain their top spot in the group.

Meanwhile Doncaster have also made an inconsistent in their division, League Two, having won four, drawn two and lost three of their nine matches and they sit 12^th, three points outside the playoff spots.

However, the League Two outfits have lost all their last three matches in the League and as they break from the division’s football, they will be desperate to build their confidence with a positive result in the ELF Trophy on Tuesday.

Doncaster still have a chance to advance from the group as they currently sit on second on two points and a maximum points on Tuesday will surely do them a great deal in securing a top-two finish. Therefore be out all guns blazing on Tuesday, but they will need to bring their top game as they were beaten 3-0 by their hosts last time the two met.
