Inter Turku will host Drita at Veritas Stadion in the UEFA Europa Conference League first qualifying round, first leg, on Wednesday evening.
Inter Turku finished fourth in Veikkausliiga last season to book a place in the Conference League qualifiers. They have made a mixed campaign so far this season and sit fifth in the top-half with 18 points from 13 games.
They head into the match off the back of a 2-1 defeat to Lahti in Veikkausliiga, ending their eight-match unbeaten run across all competitions. They are however the most up to speed side in the Wednesday’s side as they league is currently on going and they will be looking to bounce back here as they seek an advantage before the second at away.
KF Drita, who finished second in their domestic league last term, have only played two friendly games in preparation for the Wednesday clash with their league set to kickoff later this month. Also lack of experience in the European competitions should prove to be a big problem for the Kosovars.
They however, are in a good mood as they drew 2-2 in their first friendly against Gjorce Petrov at away before beating Ballkani 1-0 also at away last week. They will be hoping for a similar result on Wednesday as they seek first leg advantage at away.
