Inter Escalades will welcome CFR Cluj to Andorra Football Fereration Stadiums for the second leg of their Europa Conference League second qualifying round on Wednesday.
Cluj moved a step closer to booking their place in the third qualifying round of the Conference League, thanks to a 3-0 win over Inter Escaldes in the first leg last week. Betancor, G. Debeljuh and R. Feher were on the scoresheet for Cluj who only need a draw in the second leg to advance to the next round.
However, Cluj suffered a 3-1 defeat to Universitatea Craiova in their opening fixture of the Romanian Liga I. But, they set that aside as they focus on advancing in their European campaign. They will also want to use this fixture to bounce back and build their confidence ahead of their second league match.
Meanwhile Inter Escaldes will have a mountain to climb on Wednesday as they need to overcome a three-goal deficit in front of their fans.
They have not been in action since the first leg and will hope that they are well-rested to fight for a place in the third round of the competition in the Wednesday’s clash.
