Gent and Djurgarden will battle for the top place in Group F of the UEFA Europa Conference League when they lock horns in round three at the Ghelamco Arena on Thursday night.
Both sides have made good starts to the Conference League in Group F as both have picked four points from their opening two matches. They both drew on the opening night and won on the second night, with Gent drawing 0-0 with Molde before beating Shamrock 3-0, while Djurgarden drew 0-0 with Shamrock before beating Molde 3-2.
Now both side sit level on four points at the summit of the table, but Gent lead with a goal-difference. Therefore a win for either side will leave them top of the group, which will increase their chances of finishing top and securing an automatic qualification to the last 16 of the competition.
