Feyenoord on a very successful Conference League group stages campaign will host Maccabi Haifa to the De Kuip stadium this Thursday in the group E final fixture.
Feyenoord have been in an impressive run in the inaugural Europa Conference League campaign and have gone unbeaten all the way to this final match where they look to end it in style cementing the unbeaten run.
Feyenoord are now the top team in the group with the unbeaten run producing 11 points and have already booked their place in the Conference League last 16 having won 3 times and drawn in 2 matches to sit 4 points clear on top of the second spot.
Feyenoord have also been on an impressive performance in the Netherlands top flight, Eredivisie, and are currently sitting second with 35 points from the 15 league fixtures this far. Only a point separates the first three teams in the league.
The hosts come into the game on the back of a 5-0 home win over Sittard in the Eredivisie and will look forward to keep the high spirit.
On the other hand, Maccabi Haifa are also on a fine run in the domestic league and are the second placed team in the standing with 26 points from 12 fixtures and they sit 2 points just below H. Beer-Sheva.
Maccabi Haifa have not transferred their brilliance to the Conference League and are now the bottom team in the group standings with only 4 points on their name having won once, drawn once and lost 3 times in the run.
Maccabi Haifa have already dropped out of the contention at this point but a win would have them switch sides with the third placed Union Berlin suppose they lost in their final fixture and Maccabi won in this.
