Dynamo Kyiv will welcome Sturm Graz to Olimpiysky National Sports Complex for the first leg of their UEFA Champions League third qualifying round on Wednesday night.
Dynamo Kyiv began their Champions League qualification campaign in the second round where their made it past Fenerbahce, beating the Turks 2-1 on aggregate with all the goals coming in the second leg.
They however head into the match off a 3-0defeat to Everton in a club friendly encounter last week Friday. They have now lost three of their last five matches, winning one and drawing one in the process. They will now be looking to bounce back as they seek to make it back-to-back appearances in the Champions League proper this year.
Meanwhile Sturm Graz who finished second in the Austrian Bundesliga begin their Champions League qualification campaign in this round and will want to start on appositive note.
They head into the fixture off a huge confidence-boosting 2-1 win over RB Salzburg in the second Matchday of their Australian Bundesliga. They win followed a 1-1 draw to Wolfsberg in their opening league fixture, but have gone unbeaten in their last 10 matches across all competitions.
They will be keen to extend the run on Wednesday as they seek to make their first Champions League group stage appearance since 2001.
