Brazil will be looking to make it four wins in a row in the qualification campaign this week. The side will take on Uruguay in their bid for World Cup 2022. The match schedules for Tuesday at the Montevideo with kickoff at 2 pm.
The Selecao are currently on the top of the South American qualification group with nine points. Uruguay is fourth in the section after picking up six points from their opening three fixtures.
Uruguay started their World Cup qualifying campaign with a 2-1 win over Chile back in October. It was unfortunate for the side as they fell for a 4-2 defeat to side Ecuador five days later.
There was absolute pressure for La Celeste heading into their match against rivals Colombia. However, a 3-0 thrashing elevated the side to set their eyes on qualifying for the World Cup. Luis Suarez, Cavani, and Nunez were all on the scoresheet at the Estadio Metropolitano.
Oscar Tabarez faces an uphill battle against an in-form Brazil side. Uruguay has not yet beaten Selecao since 2001. It forms a tally of seven losses in their last nine meetings between the two nations.
Brazil head into the match coming off a 1-0 win over Venezuela with Firmino netting the second half’s winning goal. Tite’s side was far from their impressive form but managed to pick up the three points.

Uruguay Team News
Tabarez will maintain the same hope in the starting XI that got the job done against Colombia. We expect Suarez and Cavani to lead the final third of the field. Diego Godin, Lucas Torreira, and Jose Gimenez expect to maintain their start.
Brazil Team News
Neymar remains an absent figure after picking a leg injury before their clash with Venezuela. Other absentees ahead of the clash include Phillipe Coutinho, Eder Militao, and Fabinho. We could see an all-Premier League front three comprising of Richarlison, Firmino, and Gabriel Jesus.

Both sides are in excellent form, and we expect a hard-fought battle this week for a spot in the World Cup 2022.
