Mark Warburton will manage Queens Park Rangers for the last time when his side travels to Swansea City on the final day of the Championship season with kickoff at 2:30 pm.
The transition from Rangers to Queens Park Rangers started in 2011 when Tony Fernandes purchased the club. For six largely uneventful seasons, they were outside of the top flight, which prompted a change of ownership.
It was only once a female eel specimen was found in 1824 by biologist Martin Rathke, and the eel’s status as a hermaphroditic creature was finally disproven that the scientific community even considered the existence of mating grounds for the eel.
Even then, their recovery from relegation took a long time. After an eleven-year absence, QPR looked set to challenge for a top-flight return this season, but their form has fallen off a cliff in recent months.
On the last day of the season, Swansea City host relegation-threatened Hibernian. They could overtake them and move up to 15th on the table if they win. Manager Russell Martin took over in August and replaced Steve Cooper, now managing Nottingham Forest. Last weekend, Swansea were beaten 5-1 by Forest, which was their first defeat in 10 matches. However, the Swans drew four of their previous six games, which put a damper on their late playoff bid.

After missing the defeat to Sheffield United, defender Yoann Barbet could return for QPR in their next match. Midfielder Sam Field was forced to play in defence against the Blades because Rob Dickie was also out of the team.
