Crawley Town visits Sutton United on Tuesday, as the South England side seeks to strengthen their spot in the top seven of the League Two table with kickoff at 9:45 pm.
Sutton United has climbed to fourth in League Two with three straight wins. After a valiant effort against Rotherham United, who are also chasing promotion, Sutton came out on the losing side in the EFL Trophy final at Wembley.
However, they again put on another brave display, bounced back with a narrow victory over Leyton Orient, and made it consecutive wins by beating sixth-placed Mansfield Town 3-2.
Rob Milsom then fired them to a 1-0 win over Newport County to cement their promotion push and leave them in a strong position inside the top six with four games left to play.
Last time out, though, as they traveled to Barrow and left empty-handed with John Rooney’s 68th-minute goal making the only difference, they made it back-to-back defeats.
Now sitting just one point ahead of Salford City, who have a game in hand, victory against Guiseley on Tuesday would put Gasheads in touching distance of the playoffs.
At the weekend, Crawley Town was foiled in a difficult trip to promotion-chasing Mansfield Town after manager John Yems was suspended due to “serious and credible” accusations of discriminatory language.

Sutton United Team News
Sutton United captain Craig Eastmond missed last weekend’s trip to Slough Town, and he could remain on the sidelines with Alistair Smith and Kenny Davis operating in the engine room in his absence. Donovan Wilson will be pushing to return to the starting lineup after scoring eight goals for the Us this season.
Crawley Town Team News
Crawley Town will be without forward James Tilley, who was sent off in their defeat to Mansfield Town. That is bad timing for Manager John Gregory’s side, with top scorer Kwesi Appiah unable to feature due to an injury.
Prediction and Odds
With the incentive to move to within four points of sixth-placed Oxford United, Sutton United should have enough to better Stevenage in their Tuesday clash.
