Stoke City are set to take to take on Fulham at the bet365 Stadium in an important Championship fixture on Saturday evening with kickoff at 18:00.
Stoke City had a good run in the first half of the season with the club spending most of the half in the promotion places. However, they have been dropping down the table lately with a run of four defeats in six matches leaving them outside of the playoffs.
Although the Potters head into the match in high spirits as they are coming off 2-0 back-to-back victories against Leyton Orient in the FA Cup and Hull City in the Championship and Michael O’Neill will be hoping that his side regained much need confidence to face the rampant Fulham as they aim at breaking back into the top six.
Their home form is a worry though, as they are on four-game winless run at home ground and no doubt they will be looking to put an end to the trend.
Meanwhile Fulham have had a strong campaign this season and have recently been flying high in the Championship, setting up a new record of netting six or more goals in each of their last three league matches. In their last four matches Marco Silva’s side have scored 20 goals while conceding just four in return.
They currently sit at the summit of the table with five points in clear and with scorelines of 7-0, 6-2 and another 6-2 from their last three fixtures leaves them motivated to continue their serge as they look for an immediate return to the country’s bigtime.
