Sheffield United will be looking to extend their unbeaten streak in the Championship to seven matches when they play host to Hull City on Tuesday with kickoff at 10:45 pm.
Even though the Blades are in the eighth position, the Hull Stingrays are 19th in the standings after losing three games.
Sheffield United manager Paul Heckingbottom would have been disappointed to claim a 0-0 draw at Huddersfield Town on Saturday.
However, Huddersfield was unlucky to have a goal disallowed in the first half. Heckingbottom may eventually reflect on the result as a point gained against a playoff rival, one which keeps their fate in their own hands.
The fight for the top six is changing from week to week; however, with games in hand on the seven clubs above them, Sheffield United will be back on track with a win over Hull.
Although the goals have not been followed for much of the season, United has collected four clean sheets in five matches and has 11 home matches remaining this campaign.
On the other hand, Shota Arveladze will be unhappy with how his team has begun life under his leadership. Nevertheless, Hull City gave a solid account against leaders Fulham on Saturday, leaving the supporters far more optimistic than after recent defeats to Preston North End and Derby County.
