Championship leaders Sheffield United hope to end a three-game winless run when they host Blackpool on Saturday at Bramall Lane with kickoff at 5 pm.
The international break may not have come at the best time for Sheffield United, who had been in excellent form and hoped to extend their lead at the top of the Championship.
However, they did return to action with a home game against Birmingham City – which ended in a draw after Troy Deeney equalized with just under 20 minutes left on the clock.
Following that result, they hosted Queens Park Rangers and suffered their first home defeat of the season as Chris Willock put the away side ahead in the first half.
This is before they went on to play Stoke City last time out and were hoping to get back to winning ways with a squad badly hit by injuries.
Blackpool will travel to South Yorkshire with renewed confidence after an impressive victory last time.
The Tangerines experienced a slow start to the season under new management, heading into the international break with 11 points from their opening ten games.
But they returned to action at home to Norwich City and left with a point following a goalless draw before hosting promotion-chasing Watford in another difficult encounter last weekend.

Sheffield United Team News
After dealing with a long list of injuries, Sheffield United could get some reinforcements for their next match. Key defender Anel Ahmedhodzic may be fit to come back into the starting XI after his layoff, potentially allowing manager Chris Wilder to switch back to a back three with more options.
Blackpool Team News
Gary Madine will likely lead the line for Bolton Wanderers against his former club Sheffield United, who he helped win promotion to the Premier League in 2018-19. Last weekend he scored his first league goal of the season in a 2-1 win over Millwall.
