Scunthorpe United welcome Barrow to Glanford Park on Tuesday, with both teams looking for a much-needed victory that will aid their escape from the relegation places.
The hosts are currently sitting at the foot of the division, 10 points adrift of safety, while Barrow remain at risk of being dragged into the bottom two.
Having won only four matches in League Two this season, Scunthorpe United have seen their survival hopes continuously fade away over the course of the season.
Their first 10 league matches after the turn of the year was a particularly poor run, as they suffered nine defeats and only picked up only one home win over Walsall.
The Iron have failed to add another achievement to their wins column since that run, and they now come into Tuesday’s clash having lost two and drawn two of their last four home games, most recently losing 3-1 to Colchester United at home.
That has seen them collect 24 points from 36 games, with a far inferior goal difference to the sides around them, and while they may now feel the task is too huge to overcome, a victory on Tuesday would at least see them move within seven points of Barrow.
Meanwhile, Barrow will be keen to stretch their gap over the bottom two, having slightly improved their position in recent weeks.
Mark Cooper’s side sat in an uncertain position at the halfway stage of the campaign, but they have enjoyed a relative upturn in form since the beginning of February.
While Barrow have only won one game in that run, they have played out five draws, making it eight points from the last eight matches.
They travel on Tuesday off the back of consecutive draw, as they were held by Walsall, before playing out a goalless draw at Rochdale last time out.

Scunthorpe United news
Scunthorpe will be without defender Luke Matheson, who will serve a suspension after he was sent off in Saturday’s game against Colchester.
Manny Onariase could feature from the outset on the right-hand side of a back four, with Jai Rowe and George Taft set to partner up in the defence.
Barrow news
Barrow are likely to make minimal changes following the weekend’s performance, with Niall Canavan playing at the centre of the defensive line.
Lone striker Aaron Amadi-Holloway should again be supported by the trio of George Williams, Robbie Gotts and John Rooney, with Tom White and Ollie Banks featuring in midfield.
Prediction and Odds
Scunthorpe will enter the contest winless in their six most recent matches, and will be looking for a much-needed victory to keep their hope of moving away from the relegation zone alive.
Meanwhile, Barrow seem to be slowly moving away from the bottom two and will want to pick up at least a point here.
