Roma vs AC Milan Match Analysis and Prediction

AC Milan will be looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the 2021/22 Serie A campaign when they make a trip to the capital to take on Roma in an exciting league fixture at the Stadio Olimpico on Sunday with kickoff at 22:45.

Roma made a strong start to the campaign picking up five wins in their opening seven matches but things have started to drastically change at the capital as the club has been struggling for form in the recent weeks. They just ended their three-match run without a win with a 2-1 win over Cagliari in the midweek fixture.

However, Roma have been in good home form as they are yet to taste a defeat at Stadio Olimpico this season across all competitions and broke Napoli’s momentum by holding them to a 0-0 draw in their last home fixture.

Therefore, Jose Mourinho side will want to keep their home momentum as they plot to revenge on Milan who beat them 2-1 in their last home meeting.

AC Milan have been among the outstanding sides in the Serie A this season and they look determined to improve on their last season’s resurgence. Milan are one of the two Serie A sides that still remain unbeaten in their 10 matches and have only drawn once after being held 1-1 by Juventus.

The Rossoneri currently occupy the second spot in the Serie A standings but are on level in points with Napoli in the top spot with 28 points but a superior goal difference. Milan are coming off a hard-fought 1-0 win over Torino in their Midweek fixture and will want to maintain their momentum.

The visitors have been impressive on the road picking up four wins in their five away matches this season and will aim to continue their perfect form.
