Real Valladolid will lock horns with Real Sociedad at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla in their La Liga Matchday 11 tie on Saturday evening.
Newly-promoted Valladolid have impressed in start to life back in La Liga. They currently sit 11th on 11 points from 10 games in the league standings, one point outside the top half.
Pacheta’s side are coming off a rampant 4-1 home win over Celta Vigo in their previous la Liga fixture, which saw them bounce back from their 0-0 draw with Betis and 1-0 defeat to Espanyol.
They will now look to draw confidence from that victory as they seek to climb into top-10 places, although they face a high flying Sociedad and they will need to play at the top of the game.
Real Sociedad have punched above their weight this season so far, with the side winning seven of their opening 10 games and they currently sit third on 22 points, three points behind Barcelona in second and six off Real Madrid at the summit.
Sociedad are coming off a 1-0 home win over Mallorca last time out, which saw them extend their winning streak to eight games across all competitions, with five of them coming in La Liga. They will therefore look to maintain their momentum as seek to continue sitting inside the Champions League places.
