Real Madrid will look to take another step towards the La Liga title when they welcome Getafe to Bernabeu for their league matchday 31 on Saturday night with kickoff at 22:00.

Real’s talisman Karim Benzema came through again for Ancelotti’s loot, bagging an excellent hat trick on the day. He has now recorded back-to-back hat tricks in the competition, which is just over the top at this level.

The will welcome the London club for the second leg in Bernabeu on next week Tuesday and will want to warm up for the clash with another positive result on Saturday in La Liga.

Meanwhile, Getafe have made an inconsistent campaign in La Liga this season with the side claiming only seven wins from their 30 matches, while drawing 11 and losing 12 games in the process. They currently sit 14^th on 32 points, six points above the relegation zone and six outside the top half.

They have currently been climbing away from the relegation zone, although it has been a bit slowly as they have drawn four matches from their last six matches. But they have lost one in the run and they are coming off a hard-fought 1-0 victory against Mallorca at home last Saturday.

They will now be looking to build on the win as they look to climb further away from the drop zone, although, they face an uphill task this weekend as they take on real Madrid at away having won only once in their last 17 encounters against the leaders. However Getafe edged Real 1-0 in the reverse fixture earlier this season and will be draw confidence from that victory.
