Blackburn Rovers will look to continue their 100% start to the 2022/23 Championship campaign when they travel to Madejski Stadium to face off with Reading on Wednesday night.
Reading have endured a difficult start to the new Championship campaign, with the side losing two of their three league games so far. They opened with a 1-0 away defeat to Blackpool, but managed to bounce back on the second day winning 2-1 against Cardiff at home.
However they could not build on that on their third day as they fell to a humiliating 4-0 defeat to newly-promoted Rotherham United. The Royals have also been dumped out of the EFL League Cup suffering a 2-1 home defeat to Stevenage.
The Royals have now lost four of their last five matches across all competitions and will keen to bounce back here as they seek to mend their campaign towards a playoff finish.
Meanwhile Blackburn Rovers have enjoyed a brilliant and bright start to the new campaign, with the side being the only one to have won all their opening three fixtures.
They have also secured a place in the second round of the ELF League Cup having beaten Hartlepool 4-0 at away last week.
The Rovers have now won all their last matches across all competitions and will look to continue with the trend on Wednesday. They have taken an early lead in the Championship table and will want to keep things that way, but will need to alert as they have not won at Madejski Stadium in their last two visits.
