On Tuesday night, Queens Park Rangers will be looking for their fifth straight victory in the Championship when they host Swansea City kickoff at 10:45 pm.
The home side is currently in fourth place, two points behind second-placed Bournemouth, while Swansea is 17th, picking up 31 points from 24 league matches this term.
QPR have not played in England’s top division since 2014-15, but they are on track for a return this season, having amassed 47 points from 26 league matches to occupy the fourth spot in the table.
Fulham is now clear at the top, with eight points over Bournemouth, who have pulled into second place. Crystal Palace has only two points on QPR, but the Eagles have their eye on an automatic promotion spot back to the Premier League.
Swansea will head into the match on a high after defeating Preston North End 1-0 at home in the Championship on Saturday, with Ryan Manning netting the contest’s only goal in the 51st minute.
In addition, the Swans are currently down in 17th position in the table, some 13 points off the playoffs, but they have four games in hand on sixth-placed Huddersfield Town, who have played 26 league matches.
As a result, the Welsh side is not out of the playoff picture despite their lowly spot on the table. They finished fourth last term and lost to Brentford in the playoffs.
