Queens Park Rangers will seek to strengthen their position at the top of the Championship table when they play host to Wigan Athletic on Saturday with kickoff at 5 pm.
Queens Park Rangers enjoyed a promising start to the Championship season, sitting on 15 points from 10 league games. Since, they have continued to improve rapidly, climbing to the top of the table with four victories from five outings.
They have only lost once since returning from international duty but could not win again as they faced Luton Town last weekend.
However, Beale’s men had another chance to return to winning ways and maintain their place at the top of the pile when they hosted Cardiff City on Wednesday.
Wigan Athletic welcome a Latics side who have not fared as well since the break at the end of September, having put 16 points on the board in their final 10 games of League One before promotion last season.
Since returning to action, though, Leam Richardson’s side has only managed to add three more points to their total—a 1-0 victory over high-flyers Blackburn Rovers after consecutive defeats at the hands of Hull City and Cardiff City.
The Latics have struggled to build on that win, though, firstly losing away at Sunderland last weekend before being well beaten at home by Middlesbrough on Wednesday.
