Peru vs Bolivia Match Analysis & Prediction
20/11/2022 3:30 am
Peru will welcome Bolivia to the Estadio Monumental “U” for their friendly fixture on Sunday Morning.
The two sides missed out on the World Cup finals in Qatar this month with Peru narrowly missing out after losing out 5-4 on penalties to Australia in an inter-confederation playoff.
Peru who had an appearance in the 2018 World Cup in Russia will now just be playing to improve their FIFA world rankings and preparation for return of competitive football next year.
This is their second friendly fixture this month having already beaten Paraguay 1-0 last Thursday night and will be hoping for the same on Sunday as they seek to end the year on a positive note.
Meanwhile Bolivia missed out on the World Cup following an underwhelming CONMEBOL World Cup qualifying campaign which saw them finish ninth out of 10 South American nations.
As result, Bolivia changed their manager with Gustavo Costas taking over Cesar Farias. Costas’ first encounter saw Bolivia go down 2-0 against Senegal in a friendly fixture back in September. He will now hope his side to bounce back on Sunday as they seek a positive end to the year.
