Cardiff vs Aston Villa Match Analysis & Prediction

30/11/2022 10:22 pm

Cardiff will welcome Aston Villa to the Cardiff City Stadium for a club friendly fixture on Wednesday night.
The game will played to honor the memory of former Cardiff and Villa player Peter Whittingham, who passed away in March 2020 at the age of 35.
Cardiff were struggling for form in the Championship before the international break, with the side winning just one of their last five games before the break.
They suffered back-to-back league defeats to Hull City and Sheffield United and will use this friendly to boost their confidence ahead of their Championship return in December 11 against Stoke City.
Aston Villa, meanwhile, have had their up and downs in the Premier League this season, but they did look alive under Unai Emery before the World Cup. Emery Saw Villa claim new manager bounce back in style as they beat Man United 3-1 at Villa Park.
They followed that up with a 2-1 win over Brighton on the road and will look to use their planned friendlies to build momentum ahead of the return of the Premier League later in December.
