League leaders Botafogo will be looking to continue their impressive perfect winning start to the Serie A season on Friday morining when they host Corinthians at Estadio Nilton Santos.
The hosts are currently sitting at the top of the Serie A standings on 12 points through four matches, two points ahead of second-placed Palmeiras.
Botafogo enter the contest off the back of a 2-0 victory at home against Atetico Mineiro, extending their winning run to four games.
Luis Castro’s side have won each of their two previous Serie A matches at Estadio Nilton Santos this season.
Corinthians played out a 1-1 draw against Fortaleza at Neo Quimica Arena in their last league match to extend their winless run to three games, leaving them in 15th place on four points.

O Timao will be out to end a three-game away winless run, as they have not won on the road since November 2022 against Flamengo.
