AEK Athens will be looking to bounce back to winning ways in the Greece Super League when they take on Tripolis at the OPAP Arena in their Matchday 24 tie on Saturday evening.
Athens are coming off a 2-0 loss to PAOK in the prevous league fixture on Sunday. The defeat has left them five points off Panathinaikos at the summit of the league table, Athens have played on game less.
Another defeat this weekend could be fatal for Athens who will be keen to bounce back and stay closer to the summit. They have not lost to Tripolis in their last eight home games, something to build confidence on ahead of the clash.
Tripolis are coming off a 1-1 draw with Giannina at home, extending their drawing streak to three in the Super League. They now sit ninth on the standings two points above 11th-place Giannina and anything other than a win in this clash could see them drop further down.
