Omonia Nicosia will welcome Gent to the Neo GSP Stadium for the second leg of their Europa League playoffs tie on Thurday night.
Omonia currently hold the advantage in the fixture, having claiming a 2-0 win in the first leg at away last week. Returning home for the second leg Omonia Nicosia only need a draw to qualify for the group stage of the Europa League.
For the victors they have a lot to do before the Thursday clash, as they need to overcome a two-goal deficit to book a place in the Europa League proper.
Both sides have not been in action since the first leg, but Nicosia were struggling for form before they shocked Gent with the 2-0 last week. They are however a strong side at home and will want to use their home advantage to complete a double over Gent and secure a spot in the group stages of the tournament.
Gent have been good on the road recently as they have only lost two of their last 11 away matches, while winning six including the 3-1 win over Oostende in the league. They will want to keep the momentum, but they will need to be on top of their game to completely turn around the fixture.
