Despite the chance to move to the top of the Championship table, Norwich City will search for another win on Saturday, when they welcome Coventry City to Carrow Road with kickoff at 5 pm.
Norwich City, who were relegated from the Premier League last season, has been off to a slow start in their bid to return to the top flight immediately. They began their Championship campaign with three games in which they picked up just one point, losing two games (to Cardiff City and Hull City) while playing out a draw against Wigan Athletic.
However, since then, they’ve improved significantly, winning two and drawing one of their past four to move up to 11th place in the table.
Dean Smith’s side will be hoping to make it three wins on the bounce when they face Sunderland this weekend; if they do so, it will put them within touching distance of the top six.
The Sky Blues welcome Coventry City, who are floundering in the relegation zone after a tough start to their campaign.
Due to pitch issues, their first three home matches of the season were postponed. Consequently, City’s first three Championship games were played away, and they suffered a disappointing defeat at Millwall after taking a two-goal lead through Kyle McFadzean and Matt Godden.

Norwich City Team News
Norwich City will be without several players for their clash with Arsenal, including Dimitris Giannoulis, Sam McCallum and Jacob Sorensen. The only available left-back is Sam Byram, while Liam Gibbs and summer signing Isaac Hayden are unavailable for selection in midfield.
Coventry City Team News
Coventry City should recall Gustavo Hamer from his suspension and return him to the midfield for Saturday’s game against Northampton Town. He will likely join Ben Sheaf, and Jamie Allen in the engine room, with Matt Godden and Viktor Gyokeres set to form a potent strike force given the injury to creative midfielder Callum O’Hare.

The Canaries have been winning their last two games, but we would not be surprised to see a slightly more comfortable victory on home turf.
