The 90 minutes separating Morocco and Congo DR from a place in the 2022 FIFA World Cup is still a long way off, with the sides only recently going head-to-head in the Africa Cup of Nations qualifying with kickoff at 10:30 pm.
The Moroccans and Congolese played out a 1-1 draw in their match on Friday at Stade des Martyrs. Vahid Halilhodzic’s men trailed after just 12 minutes when Yoann Wissa scored for Congo DR, but Tarik Tissoudali tied things up for Morocco shortly after halftime.
Despite being below par on the day, Morocco could have come away with a crucial victory had Ryan Mmaee held his nerve from the penalty spot nine minutes after the restart. Currently, the North Africans lead the tie on away goals and are in the driving seat heading into the second leg.
After winning each of the last ten matches at home, it’s expected that Tuesday’s hosts will win and clinch a berth in the World Cup.
Congo has every reason to be proud of their 1–0 first-leg win over Morocco in the Africa Cup of Nations. They stuck more resolutely to their game plan than the more illustrious opponents, limiting Morocco to one goal in the first half.

You may see Tarik Tissoudali of Granada in the starting line-up after excelling on the bench last season. However, Youssef En Nesyri can also be a good option when your fancies change.
DR Congo Team News
Congo DR’s Glody Ngonda was sent off for two bookable offences last time out, and the 27-year-old will be suspended for Tuesday’s clash. Defender Merveille Bokadi is expected to come into the starting XI due to Ngonda’s unavailability.
