Carlisle United will continue to seek their way out of the relagation zone on Tuesday night when they travel to face Mansfield Town in their last League Two encounter.
Mansfield are currently in the midtable but will head into this match with confidence after progressing to the third round of the FA Cup.
They were impressive at the weekend when they defeated Doncaster Rovers 3-2 in the FA Cup. A goal from William Forrester and a brace from George Lapslie helped secure the results, making it the second game in a row they have been able to win.
Mansfield defeated Crawley Town in their most recent League Two fixture, with Rhys Oates and Oliver Hawkins scoring to secure the three points.
The club have had an impressive period of time, and have been defeated just once in their previous eight fixtures, which provides confidence to the squad.
Nigel Clough will hope that his team can continue this run of performances in order to get themselves to secure promotion as they are just seven points away from the playoffs.
Meanwhile, Carlisle United have a had a tough season so far, which is why they are just one place above the relagation zone, having won just three games all season.
However, one in those three victories came in their most recent League Two fixture, as they defeated Walsall 1-0 with Tristan Abrahams getting on the scoresheet.
The Blues really needed the result, with just one point sepatating them and Oldham Athletic, the reason keeping them out of the bottom two spots.
A victory on Tuesday would provide Carlisle United the opportunity to move to 20th, which is something that could put distance between them and the relagation spots.
After picking two victories in their previous three in all competitions, the team have had momentum for the first time this season.
