Manchester City will look to continue their unbeaten run in Champions League Group G when they welcome Sevilla to the Etihad Stadium for their final group game on Wednesday with kickoff at 11 pm.
Manchester City is one of only five teams in this season’s Champions League who have yet to lose a group-stage match.
The English side won its first three matches and drew 0-0 away against Borussia Dortmund last week to secure the top spot in Group G and help the German club qualify as runners-up.
Both sides will discover their fate in the last 16 when the draw is made on November 7. In the Premier League, City returned to winning ways without injured goal machine Erling Braut Haaland by securing a slender 1-0 away victory against Leicester City on Saturday with a stunning Kevin De Bruyne free kick early in the second half.
Following Julen Lopetegui’s departure in early October, Sevilla’s form has improved only slightly.
Since Jorge Sampaoli took charge of Los Rojiblancos, they have won two, drawn three, and lost two of their seven matches across all competitions.
Their most recent win came on November 1 when they defeated Copenhagen 3-0 in the Champions League group stage. Still, they followed that up with a defeat just four days later against Rayo Vallecano in La Liga.

Manchester City Team News
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Norwegian striker Magnus Haaland will not play against Shakhtar Donetsk on Wednesday. This is due to “ligament damage” and is hopeful that the center-forward will be fit for Manchester City’s home match against Fulham on Saturday.
Sevilla Team News
Sevilla winger Jesus Corona and Tanguy Nianzou (thigh) are ruled out of the World Cup with injuries, while Youssef En-Nesyri (hamstring) is also unavailable for selection. Ivan Rakitic could continue in the middle of the pitch, with Thomas Delaney another option who coach Jorge Sampaoli could call upon.
Prediction and Odds
Neither team will be at full strength for Wednesday’s clash, and both sides have more important fixtures to focus on in the coming weeks before the World Cup.
