Luton Town will welcome Sheffield United to Kenilworth Road for their Championship Matchday 06 tie on Friday night, with kickoff at 22:00.
Luton had a poor start to the new Championship campaign failing to win any of their opening four matches, drawing two and suffering two defeats in the run.
They however got their campaign up and running last time out as they claimed a 2-0 victory at Swansea City. They now sit 18th in the Championship standings on five points, and although its early in the campaign Luton need to keep claiming maximum points if they are going to challenge for a playoff finish again.
Meanwhile Sheffield have bounced back from their narrow 1-0 defeat to Watford on the opening day emphatically as they gone unbeaten in the last four Championship matches, picking up three victories and one draw in the process.
The Blades are coming off a statement 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers last time out and they could easily have doubled the scoresheet considering the number of quality chances they created.
They now sit at the top of the Championship table with 10 points and they will be targeting another maximum points on Friday as they hope to strengthen their top status in the league standings.
Sheffield have not lost to Luton in their last five Championship matches, claiming three victories and two draws in the run and they should be confident of extending the run on Friday. But they will need another classic performance to get maximum points at Luton having not won there in their last three visits.
