Hull City and Blackburn Rovers will be looking to continue their winning streaks in the Championship on Saturday when they face off at the MKM Stadium with kickoff at 5 pm.
After a disastrous start to the season, Hull City was able to bounce back in a big way. Andy Dawson replaced Shota Arveladze as manager and immediately turned things around for the Tigers.
While Hull’s first game under Dawson’s command ended in defeat, they quickly returned to winning ways by beating Wigan Athletic 1-0. They followed that with wins over Huddersfield Town and Birmingham City.
However, Hull would then lose their next two matches against Huddersfield and Birmingham before returning to winning ways against Blackpool last weekend.
Feeling like they were regaining momentum under Dawson, Hull would put together another strong performance against Rotherham United this past weekend.
Blackburn Rovers will travel to Yorkshire looking to break back into the top two after three wins on the bounce, having taken well to life under Jon Dahl Tomasson following his summer appointment.
A run of three consecutive defeats followed a perfect start to the season, and while the Lancashire outfit has lost seven Championship games and is not yet drawn, they now boast a league-high tally of 10 victories in 17 matches.
