Fiorentina will welcome Inter Milan to Stadio Artemio Franchi for their Serie A Matchday 11 fixture on Saturday night.
Fiorentina have made an inconsistent campaign in Serie A this season and are coming off a 1-1 draw against Lecce.
The draw saw them extend their winless run to three games in Serie A, while dropping them to 13th-place in the league standings. They however remain just one point outside the top half and some five points above the relegation zone.
The Violas will therefore be looking to return to winning ways this weekend as they look to climb into the top half, but the face a tough challenge as Inter pay them a visit. They have not beaten the Nerazzurri last five meetings across all competitions, suffering four defeats in the run.
Inter have had their fair share of disappointments this season having lost four of their 10 games in Serie A. They currently sit seventh on 18 points, eight points off Napoli at the top of the league.
They are coming off back to back league wins against Sassuolo (2-1) and Salernitana (2-0), and sandwiched between the two is a 3-3 draw against Barcelona in the Champions League.
Simone Inzaghi’s side therefore have the momentum going into this fixture and they will look to maintain it with a positive result on Saturday as seek to get themselves into the title race.
