Ferencvaros will square off with Shamrock Rovers at the Groupama Arena in the first leg of their playoff round of the Europa League Qualification on Thursday night.
Ferencvaros failed to secure a place in the playoff round of the Champions League qualifiers as they fell to 4-1 aggregate defeat to Qarabag in the third round.
They will now look to secure a place in the group stages of Europa League as they seek to give their fans something to cheer up. The Hungarian champions head into the match following a 4-0 win over MOL Fehervar last weekend and will be hoping to carry on the momentum into this fixture.
Meanwhile Shamrock Rovers managed to book a place in the playoff round of the Europa League qualification, as they saw out Shkupi Cair 5-2 on aggregate in the third round of the competition.
They are coming off a 0-0 draw with Derry City in the domestic league campaign last weekend, extending their unbeaten run to six matches across all competitions, and will be looking to maintain the run on Thursday as seek to gain an advantage before the return leg at home.
