Looking a second victory in Group B of the UEFA European Under-19 Championship, England U19s take on Serbia U19s at the Narodny Atleticky Stadion for their second group match on Wednesday night.
England juniors started their Euro 2022 trophy campaign on a high as they claimed a 2-0 victory over Austria, with Aston Villa’s Carney Chukwuemeka and Alfie Devine sealing the deal for England. They now lead the group with three points and another win on Wednesday will see them book a place in the knockout stages of the campaign.
Ian Foster’s side are currently in a strong form having gone unbeaten in their last seven matches across all competitions, claiming six victories in the run while also keeping six clean sheets in the process. They should now therefore be confident heading into the fixture and we are backing them to pick a second victory of the competition on Wednesday.
Serbia meanwhile opened with a 2-2 draw against Israel and now sit second in Group B on one point. With two matches remaining to end the group stage Serbia will scraping for any points in the Wednesday clash.
It will take a lot of effort for Serbia juniors, although two-times winners of the competition who boast a four-match unbeaten run will not be afraid to for it on Wednesday. They put up a good showing in the draw against the Israelis and Aleksandar Jovic will be hoping for a similar performance.
