Cuiaba will be looking to climb out of the relegation zone when they take on Ceara at the Arena Pantanal in their Brasileiro Matchday 13 fixture on Saturday night.
Cuiaba have a had a difficult start to the 2022 Brazilian Serie A Championship campaign, with the club now heading into the 13 round with 12 points from 12 games and they currently sit 18th, two points adrift of safety. In their opening 12 games they have claimed three victories, three draws and suffered six defeats.
Antonio Oliveira’s side has won just one of their last seven fixtures across all competitions, suffering four defeats in the run and are coming off a 2-0 defeat to now 10th-placed Flamengo. They will now be looking to bounce back to winning ways as they hope to climb out of the drop zone on Saturday.

Ceara have won three, drawn six and lost three of their opening 12 games, and currently sit 15th on 15 points, just two places and two points above the relegation zone. Therefore a poor result on Saturday could leave them inside the drop zone something they will be looking to avoid.
Having gone unbeaten in their last 11 games across all competitions, Ceara will be confident of extending the run on Saturday against a side they haven’t fallen to since 2011. However, the visitors have been involved in six draws in their last eight Brazilian Serie A games and are coming off back-to-back draws against Goias and Atletico Mineiro.
