Two sides that have made contrasting fortunes in Serie A this season go head to head as a struggling Cremonese host a high-flying Napoli at the Stadio Giovanni Zini in their Matchday Nine tie on Sunday.
Cremonese have found life difficult back to the Italian topflight as they have failed to win any of their eight fixture now while picking up just three points from the run, which have left them siting inside the relegation zone, three points adrift of safety and one point off the bottom of the table.
They drew 1-1 with fellow newly-promoted Lecce last time out and though they will desperate to build on the draw and pick up their first victory this weekend, it will be hard to beat league leaders and high-flying Napoli.
Indeed Napoli have been intimidating this season and are among the only two Serie A that still remain unbeaten so far. They have not fallen short in front of goal and have now won six and drawn two of their eight matches in Serie A.
They sit top of the table, level on 20 points with Atalanta but they have a superior goal difference. They will therefore be looking to continue sitting at the top of the table with a positive result on Saturday, and coming off a 6-1 away win over Ajax in the Champions League will no doubt double their confidence in this fixture.
