Coventry will be looking to return to winning ways when they welcome Birmingham City to Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday night with kickoff at 22:45.
Coventry have been flying high this season and will be dreaming of a return to the top tier for the first time since 2000-01 campaign. So far they have made an impressive Championship campaign calming nine wins, four draws and five defeats in their 18 matches and currently sit in the fifth spot on 31 points, just a point behind third-placed West Brom and on level with fourth placed Stoke City.

However, Coventry head into the match full of confidence as they have only lost one of their last nine home matches this season, picking up seven wins in the process including an impressive 4-1 against formidable Fulham.
Therefore, the Sky Blues will fancy their chances here and will be desperate for the three points as they face Bournemouth and West Brom in their next league fixtures and are only five points above the 10th placed Blackpool, hence the three points in the Tuesday’s clash will be very vital for the hosts.
Meanwhile, Birmingham have made an inconsistent campaign this season claiming six wins, four draws and eight defeats in their 18 matches collecting 22 points, which have left them sitting in the 15th spot with seven points outside the drop zone.
Lee Bowyer’s side will be looking to bounce back to winning ways following their back-to-back defeats to Reading (1-2) and Hull City (2-0). The two defeats were a lip up for the visitors who were unbeaten in four matches with a three-match winning streak and thus will give everything to return to their former form.
However, that won’t be easy for the visitors who have recorded a poor form on the road as they have just won one of their last seven away matches in Championship, suffering four defeats in the run and have failed to score in five of their last six away matches.
