Real Sociedad will be looking to extend their winning streak to four matches in La Liga when they make a trip to Municipal de Balaidos to take on Celta Vigo in their Matchday Nine tie on Sunday.

Celta Vigo are coming off a 1-0 away defeat to Barcelona in the previous league fixture, which made it their third defeat in their last four league matches. A 1-0 win over Betis saw them bounce back from a 4-1 defeat to Atletico and 3-0 loss to Valencia, before Barcelona brought them back down to earth again.

They currently sit 11^th, one point outside the top half, and they will be looking to get back on track on Sunday as they hope to climb into the top 10 places. They have lost all their last four league matches against Sociedad though, and they need to play at the top of the game to get something out of the fixture.

Real Sociedad claimed a 3-0 win over Sheriff Tiraspol in the Europa League in the midweek, extending their winning streak to six games across all competitions. Three of the victories have come in La Liga, with the most recent one being a 1-0 home win over Villarreal.

The three victories leave them sitting sixth, level on 16 points with fourth-placed Atletico Madrid and one point behind Bilbao in third. Therefore a win on Sunday could leave them as high as third in the league standings, and with their current form they should be confident.
