Levante will be travelling to face Celta Vigo on Monday as the look to make it back-to-back wins in La Liga when they continue their campaign.

The visitors will enter the match off the back of a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid, while Celta Vigo picked up a draw with Cadiz last time out.

Celta Vigo have picked up eight wins, seven draws and nine losses from 24 La Liga matches this season to collect 31 points, which has left them 10th in the table, seven points behind sixth-placed Real Sociedad.

They enter this contest on a four-game unbeaten run, picking up eight points from the 12 available, defeating Osasuna and Rayo Vallecano, in addition to sharing points with Sevilla and Cadiz.

Meanwhile, Levante still have a long way to go to avoid relegation to the second division, currently sitting bottom of the table with 14 points, 10 points from the safety of 17th position.

However, they enter Monday’s contest full of confidence following a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid during the week, with Gonzalo Melero scoring the only goal of the game at Wanda Metropolitano.

That victory was just their second in La Liga this season, and it has been a disappointing season for the club, who have conceded 50 times in their 24 matches.

Levante are also winless in their last three La Liga matches against Celta Vigo, but they recorded a 3-2 victory during the 2019-20 campaign.
