On Saturday, two teams in the top seven of the Championship standings will clash when Burnley hosts Bristol City at Turf Moor, with kickoff at 5 pm.
The Clarets have started the campaign well, sitting fifth in the table with 13 points from nine matches, but they slightly rued their chances of taking all three points against Preston on Tuesday.
After a 10th-minute opener from Taylor Harwood-Bellis was canceled out just five minutes later by Jordan Storey, they had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Deepdale.
Burnley has been drawing games at an alarming rate this term, with no team currently drawing more than them (five) and only goal-shy Preston and West Bromwich Albion drawing more overall (six).
They are six points behind Sheffield United at the summit, but anything could happen with plenty of football left to play this season.
On Wednesday night, Bristol City lost to Norwich City 3-2. Tommy Conway and Antoine Semenyo scored for the Robins, but the Canaries came out on top.
Nigel Pearson’s side has had no problems finding the net so far this season—they have scored in all of their opening nine Championship matches and have racked up a total of 18 goals in the process—more than any other side in the division.

Burnley Team News
Ashley Westwood and Darko Churlinov are still sidelined due to ankle injuries. Scott Twine, Johan Berg Gudmundsson, and Kevin Long could not play against Preston North End because of fitness issues and will be re-evaluated before the match this weekend.
Bristol City Team News
Defender Tomas Kalas is the only concern for Bristol City as he continues to recover from a knee injury. Centre-back trio Robert Atkinson, Kal Naismith, and Zak Vyner, who have started all nine Championship games so far this term, are set to remain in the back three, shielding goalkeeper Daniel Bentley.
