Colchester will be travelling to the Utilita Energy Stadium on Wednesday, when they will encounter Bradford City in League Two.
Bradford are seeking their first win in eight matches in all competitions, while Colchester are aiming to extend their undefeated run in League Two to three games.
Derek Adams’ side are heading into Wednesday’s match after a disappointment in round one of the FA Cup as they were knocked out of the competition by Exeter City.
Their first meeting with Exeter ended in a 1-1 draw, which went to a replay which was later cancelled, which led to Bradford travelling down south to St James’ Park for the second time last Tuesday falling to a 2-1 defeat.
Amongst those FA Cup travels, Bradford have played out many 1-1 draws in League Two, including last weekend when they were on the road again at Scunthorpe.
Yann Songo’o scored his first goal for the club to level the scoreline in that match, but the Bantams will be seeking to keep their first clean sheet since the beggining of October on Wednesday to try and get back to winning.
Derek Adams will have confidence in his team to block Colchester from scoring this week, as the visitors have only scored six times in eight away games this season, one of the lowest in the division.
Colchester’s last league outing was played late in November, when they snatched a point in a 1-1 draw with Newport.
Goalkeeper Jake Turner was awarded the Player of the Match award, and he is likely to need to produce another strong performance on Wednesday as his side do not have a strong attacking power.
Colchester have not won on the road in League Two since September, while Bradford will be relieved to be back on the home turf as they have lost only once in West Yorlshire.

Bradford City news
Attacker Abo Eisa did not feature against Exeter and is likely to miss out here as well. Elliot Watt replaced Eisa on the right win and could continue in this game, with Lee Angol still leading the line as he has scored three goals in six League Two appearances for Bradford this season.
Colchester United news
Striker Freddie Sears is the leading goalscorer for Colchester, having scored seven thus far, and he certainly will start in this game.
Noah Chivers and Cole Skuse have been integral in the team and have missed just one away league game this season, and they will remain in the midfield on Wednesday.
Prediction and Odds
Bradford have had a draining FA Cup journey, playing Exeter three times travelling twice and got knocked out of the competition in the end, which could impact them negatively.
Colchester will travel with that in mind and will try to take advantage of that, but Bradford may block them on the way. We predict a draw or away win.
