Blackpool vs. Norwich City Match Analysis and Prediction

Norwich City is looking to extend their unbeaten streak in the Championship to eight matches when they head to Blackpool on Saturday with kickoff at 5 pm.

Smith and his Norwich side deserve huge credit for the level of their turnaround. After starting the season with three games without success, the Canaries have recorded 19 points from a possible 21 and sit third in the Championship.

Although Smith would have been disappointed to only earn a draw against West Bromwich Albion last time out, it kept their points tally ticking over and kept them close to leaders Sheffield United.

Norwich now faces a run of three away games in their next four outings, and their only defeats of the season were away from Carrow Road.

From Blackpool’s perspective, a promising start has given way to a worrying run as the team has only earned three points from their last four fixtures.

That lone victory came against struggling Huddersfield Town, but setbacks have followed since at Rotherham United and Millwall, respectively.

It should be noted that Michael Appleton’s team has not played a home fixture since August 31; Blackpool has participated in two more fixtures on the road than at home.

The Seasiders enter this game having scored just twice in four games; that form coming after they previously recorded back-to-back 3-3 draws with Burnley and Bristol City, respectively.
